The Greeting Card program started in 2009 while in Africa and was moved to help the children whom Jan met and fell in love with at the Bwera Center. When you give a donation you can receive the gift of a greeting card and your donation will go directly to benefit the children. The greeting cards are 5x7 glossy prints suitable for framing of photos taken while in Uganda. The inside is blank so they can be used for all occasions. All proceeds benefit the children of the Child Development Embassy program. This year we were able to provide each of the 60 enrolled children with a treated mosquito net to help fight malaria. It is our desire to make available more nets for family members. Also, many of the children sleep on the ground or on plastic bags filled with leaves or more plastic bags. We would like to be able to provide mattresses for each enrolled child to sleep on.
